Pass-Through Authentication Proxy ToolPTA Proxy allows adding of links targeting external web resources to standard menus of Blackboard user interface. PTA Proxy performs initial handling and validation of requests initiated after clicking on those links, thus ensuring authentication of parameters like userid or role passed from Blackboard. Every link is configurable with set of transformation rules allowing forming of new URL, session context information and redirection characteristics on the base of received parameters and link path. Developed on .Net 3.5 platform, PTA Proxy proposes both direct integration with .Net applications and independent deployment.
